iOS 26 Built on Apple's new AlarmKit

Your calendar whispers. This one rings.

FiveTo turns every meeting on your iPhone calendar into a real alarm. It rings through Focus and silent mode and keeps going until you stop it or tap Join.

The problem

A banner is easy to miss. An alarm isn't.

Calendar reminders arrive as notifications, and your phone is built to keep notifications quiet. Focus hides them, silent mode mutes them, and one swipe clears them for good.

TodayCalendar notification

  • Hidden by Focus and Do Not Disturb
  • No sound when the ring switch is off
  • Plays one short chime, then goes quiet
  • Swiped away with the other 40 banners
  • Pings twice when the same invite sits in two calendars

FiveToReal alarm

  • Rings through Focus, like the Clock app
  • Rings in silent mode
  • Keeps ringing until you stop it
  • Full-screen on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island
  • One alarm per meeting, even when invites are duplicated
You're not the only one

People keep missing meetings they knew about.

We went looking for people whose calendar reminders didn't get through. Here is what they wrote, quoted as posted.

How it works

Set up once. It runs by itself.

Step 1

Allow calendar access

FiveTo reads the calendars already on your iPhone, including Google accounts added in Settings. There's nothing to sign in to.

Step 2

Allow alarms

One system prompt lets it ring the way the Clock app does, through Focus and silent mode.

Step 3

Close the app

Alarms are scheduled 7 days ahead and fire even if you never open the app again. New and moved meetings sync automatically.

Smart rules

It only rings for meetings you're going to.

An alarm for every calendar entry would be worse than none. FiveTo skips the noise so every ring means something.

  • Rings during your working hours, 8:00 to 19:00 by default
  • Weekdays only, unless you turn weekends on
  • Skips all-day, declined, cancelled and "Free" events
  • Turn whole calendars off, or skip a single meeting
  • Pause for the rest of today or until you're back from holiday

Features

Everything it does, and nothing it doesn't need.

A real alarm

Uses Apple's AlarmKit, the same system as the Clock app. It rings through Focus and silent mode until you stop it.

One-tap Join

Finds the Zoom, Google Meet or Teams link in the invite. Tap Join to silence the alarm and open the call.

Every calendar

Google, iCloud, Outlook and Exchange, whatever you've added to iOS Calendar. Duplicate invites ring once.

Your lead time

Ring 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 or 15 minutes before the meeting starts. Five is the default.

Smart rules

Working hours, weekdays, per-calendar switches, and automatic skipping of all-day, declined and free events.

Pause

Off for the rest of today, for a week, or until a date you pick. Alarms come back on their own.

Next-alarm widget

See your next meeting alarm on the Home Screen or Lock Screen without opening the app.

Always in sync

Re-syncs when your calendar changes, when you change time zone, and in the background.

Private by design

Your calendar never leaves your phone. No account, no server, no tracking.

FAQ

Questions

Will it really ring when my phone is on silent or in Focus?

Yes. FiveTo uses AlarmKit, Apple's alarm system in iOS 26. Those alarms behave like the ones in the Clock app, so they ring through silent mode and every Focus, including Sleep.

Does it work with Google Calendar?

Yes. Add your Google account in Settings › Apps › Calendar › Calendar Accounts and FiveTo picks it up. The same goes for Outlook, Exchange and iCloud calendars. There's no separate sign-in.

Do I need to keep the app open?

No. Alarms are scheduled up to 7 days ahead and ring even if the app never runs again. It updates the schedule whenever you open it, when your calendar changes, and during background refresh.

Won't it ring for every little thing on my calendar?

No. It only rings during your working hours and skips all-day, declined, cancelled and "Free" events. You can turn off whole calendars, skip one meeting, or pause it completely.

Which iPhones does it support?

Any iPhone running iOS 26.1 or later. AlarmKit doesn't exist on earlier versions, so there's no way to make this work on them.

What happens to my calendar data?

It stays on your iPhone. FiveTo reads events through Apple's calendar framework and has no server or account, so there is nothing to upload.

Stop being late to meetings you knew about.

Two permissions and you're done. The next meeting on your calendar will ring.
